University Hospitals EMS Training & Disaster Preparedness Institute
We strengthen emergency medical services through education, collaboration, and regional readiness. Working in partnership with Fire Departments, EMS providers, Special Rescue Teams, and healthcare professionals across Northern Ohio, we support coordinated emergency response and clinical excellence.
Education Initiatives
We offer hands-on training, instructor-led courses, physician-led lectures, and online education for firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physicians, and hospital staff. All programs are aligned with current best practices and meet state and national continuing education requirements.
Through a centralized platform, users can easily register for courses, attend lectures and symposiums, and complete online training—creating a streamlined path to ongoing professional development and improved patient care.
